|First||Knights move in "L Shapes"|
|Second||Capture what they land on|
|Third||Move slowly across the board|
A Knight is a Chess piece.
There are two knights in each side. Knights have a very special move. They are the only piece that turns during it's move and is the only piece that is allowed to jump over other pieces. Knights move in the shape of the letter "L" and can do so sideways, forwards or backwards. Knights capture what they land on, not the pieces they jump over. Knights cannot be blocked because they jump over pieces. Also, it is sometimes difficult to see where they are going because they move from light to dark (or vice versa) squares. However, Knights don't move quickly across the board.
Knights look like the head of a horse.
